Scheduling an appointment
Dr. DeMoss is a licensed psychologist specializing in individual psychotherapy and sport psychology.
A native Lexingtonian, her specializations are in counseling and educational psychology from the University of Kentucky. She serves as a private practitioner, working with children, teens, young adults, parents, and families.
To schedule an appointment, please call or text my private office number at 859-277-2547, or through the "contact us" buttons on this website. If you receive a recorded message, I am either out of the office or on another line. Your call will be returned within 24 hours Monday through Friday.
Your initial visit is for 90 minutes. Subsequent visits are 45-50 minutes. I have a 24-hour cancellation policy. Because your appointment is set aside for you, missed appointments with less than 24 hours notice are subject to the full office visit charge.
Payments
Payment is expected at time of service and may be made by check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, cash or from your Flexible Spending Card (HSA).
Dr. DeMoss is not a participating provider in any insurance plans; therefore she is considered an "out of network" provider. We do not bill or accept assignment from insurance plans. However, we will provide you with the necessary documentation to file with your insurance company for potential reimbursement.
Please note that reimbursement is a matter between you and your insurance company, and you should check with your insurance directly regarding your policy coverage.
